I just got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent wanting to talk to the person with the Sky account. She actually knew my name and mentioned that my Sky insurance had run out. But since I’m well aware of when my renewal is meant to be, I quickly realised it was a scam and ended the call straight away. Seriously, these calls need to be stopped once and for all.

Got a really annoying call so I just blocked the number!

Got a quiet call out of nowhere, they said they were Sky. I just said thanks for ringing but told them I’m not with Sky. Suddenly, they started cussing at me!

Someone called claiming to be from Sky insurance, saying we owed money on a contract and couldn’t cancel unless we’d done so 10 days before the end in writing. They warned the debt would be passed to a collections agency who'd contact us. That’s odd because they had already phoned before, saying the contract finished but my husband supposedly renewed it, though the bank refused payment. They said we should sort it out with the bank. There’s no way we didn’t pay, so no valid contract. I told them both times we don’t want Sky insurance and hung up straight away.
