Got a phone call saying it was from the UK but it was actually from some call centre in India. Pretty clear it was a scam, don’t trust these dodgy callers.

They keep calling me loads from different numbers throughout the day, some international ones included.. it’s about 5 times on average and it’s really starting to annoy me. I don’t even pick up anymore but it’s annoying having to stop what I am doing just to check who’s ringing in case it’s someone important. Such a pain!

They kept avoiding telling me who they were and tried to switch the conversation when I asked for their name, but then they wanted my personal info.

Been getting calls from this number like 10 times now, always someone different and the accent sounds Indian. Every time I say the person they’re looking for doesn’t live here and hasn’t ever, they just hang up straight away. Then someone else rings a bit later or a couple of days after, same story. We’ve had this number for yonks and it’s on the TPS. The previous owners, who had the house for over 40 years, definitely weren’t that person either.

Got a missed call on my voicemail but no one said anything. This was the third time today a marketing number has tried me.

When I picked up the call, there was complete silence on the other end. Not a peep! And to add to the mystery, they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either. Quite puzzling, really.

Got another call from UK Preference, just like before. The number was blocked on my phone. They've also tried ringing me from these numbers as well: 01443201040, 01331857523, and 01739937890. Such a pain!

Was waiting for a call from the London area, so I picked up. An American woman asked if I was the person she wanted by name. I told her I’m on the TPS and asked her to remove my number from their calls. She just hung up, so I’m guessing that’s a yes. I’ve blocked that number and a few others now.
