Initially, i got a call from a Manchester area code, but soon after, it got switched over and i ended up talking with a woman claiming to be from India. I wasn’t in the mood to entertain whatever scheme they were running, so i just replied in a different language that i’m fluent in. She tried to keep asking her questions but quickly saw it wasn’t going anywhere and just ended the call.

Got a call claiming there'd been a crash. From the moment I picked up, I reckoned it was dodgy. I ended up talking to their legal rep who jotted down all the crash info. They said it happened last Christmas Eve while I was dropping off pressies at my daughter’s. Apparently, a red car cut me up and slammed on the brakes. I told them my insurer won’t cough up ‘cos the other driver’s uninsured and unlicensed. When I mentioned the other "car" was actually a red sleigh and the bloke’s name was Santa Claus, the bloke swore and hung up after nearly 16 minutes. What a load of rubbish.

Whenever one of those supposed scammers calls me, I pick up and let them do their spiel. Then I hit them with that I can't go driving or have any accidents since I’ve got no arms or legs. Most of the time, they sound stunned and end up just hanging up, or they actually say sorry and promise to take me off their call list. Give it a go, it’s quite funny!

Got one of those pre-recorded calls today, trying to hunt for accident claim victims. Really annoying how they pause like they're paying attention, when they're not even there!
