I got a robo call claiming to be from HMRC, saying I was involved in some fraud. They warned if I didn’t hit 1, I’d be arrested soon. Totally dodgy!

Got a call from a robot woman, said she was from Ashcroft Solicitors. She told me I’d been in a car crash and could claim money. Thing is, I haven’t been in any accident and would sort it properly if I did. Not sure if this is just some scam or a sneaky marketing trick. Either way, these calls are really frustrating.
