I asked for the caller’s name and to spell it out, but they refused and threatened to leave bad marks against me at the Office of Fair Trading. I told them to go ahead, and they hung up. Afterwards, I rang Citizens Advice and was told to contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. They’ve logged the call with the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau. They advised me if they call back, just say you’ve reported them to the police and hang up straight away.
