I received several calls today from a chap claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse. He eerily had my complete name and address at his fingertips! He then proceeded to try and sell me a variety of phone contracts. I decided to cut the conversation short as it all seemed rather dodgy - definitely had all the hallmarks of a scam!

I picked up and they just ended the call straight away, totally pointless.

It’s really worrying how they seem to have my full details like my name and postcode. When I said I was going to pass her on to the police, she just ended the call straight away. They really need to sort out these calls, especially to protect people who are more at risk.
