When I asked why they needed that info, she just kept going over the same question. Felt fishy, so I ended the call. Watch out, this sounds like a scam.

I just received a call from someone claiming to be Michael Smith, but his accent was quite evidently Indian. He stated he was with the ‘NHS Covid-19 service’ and was checking on my vaccination status and how I felt post-vaccine. To my surprise, he knew my address and mentioned he’d be sending information through the post. Then he started probing about my life insurance, insisting he could ‘update’ it for me if I provided him with the company’s name. I pushed back, saying I would handle any updates myself, but he seemed quite pushy about his offer. When I asked for his contact details, he refused to give me a phone number, claiming the number he called from was merely an extension for a London office and cited 12 Endeavour Square, London, E20 1JN. At that point, my gut feeling told me something was off, so I let him know I was ending the call because I was not convinced by his claims and felt uneasy about the specifics he had on me. Just a friendly warning to everyone, be wary of what information you divulge. This screams scam to me-having worked for the NHS, I can assure you we’d never request insurance details when inquiring about Covid vaccine reactions. I’ve now blocked the number.
