Couldn’t answer cause was in the shower, but after reading the comments it seems like i didn’t miss anything good. Another rubbish scam trying to steal folks bank info. Honestly, with all the tech we got these days it’s crazy that phone companies can’t block these calls better. Feels like they care more about making money than protecting us. I’m looking at you BT, EE, O2 and all the others - we’re fed up of this nonsense!

Somebody said they were from Three's Promotions but the first thing they asked was how much I pay for my phone bill. I told them if they're really from Three, they’d know that already. Then they said they couldn’t understand me (I repeated myself slowly - I’m Scottish, what can I say) and then they just got annoyed and cut me off.

Didn’t answer 'cos I was in the shower, but reading the comments it seems I didn’t miss out on much. Another rubbish scam trying to nick people’s bank info. Honestly, with all the tech we’ve got in 2023, I don’t get why phone companies can’t filter these calls better. Makes you wonder if they care more about making money than protecting us. We all know the truth though - BT, EE, O2, you lot need to get your act together, we’re fed up with this nonsense.

This caller sounded Asian, and it's mad how these scammers just keep targeting people. I've blocked the number, but they'll just switch to a new one, no doubt. Seems like the phone companies just want the cash and don't really care about stopping it.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. He claimed they’d blocked loads of scam calls to my phone. I said thanks, but then he asked to confirm my name and address. After that, he mentioned a credit card of mine expiring in 2023 and wanted me to read out the number. I told him, if TPS is a free service, why on earth would they have my card details? I said I wasn’t happy giving that info and hung up straight away.

June 2nd. Caller claimed to be from O2. Haven’t used their services in over 15 years - I guess they just took the prefix from when my number was first given by O2. Who actually rings on a Sunday arvo anyway? Judging by the accent, doubt they were even calling from Preston.
