My phone rang and when I picked up, they just hung up straight away. Pretty sure it's a scam call.

Usually, my voicemail picks up after a couple of rings, and I never pick up calls from unknown or blocked numbers. But this time, the phone kept ringing non-stop for what felt like ages - couldn't believe it, one call just kept ringing! When my answer machine finally started, I checked who had called and was quite shocked to find it was probably a scam. Watch out for weird numbers like that, they can be tricky.

Got a call from a number that was supposedly from Preston, but the line was terrible and there was loads of background noise, like a busy office or something. I didn’t buy it and quickly ended the call. Took a look here afterwards and, no shock, it’s listed as a scam. I’m definitely flagging it as risky - these lot can do one!

Someone called me saying they were from EE and offered a better deal on my mobile contract. I wasn’t sure if it was legit or not.

Got a call from this number, there was this lot of background noise, kinda busy sounding. The caller had a strong Asian accent and after a long silence, I just hung up - seemed like a scam to me.

They actually got rude after I mentioned that T-Mobile had told me this wasn’t a legit number, and asked why I hadn’t hung up yet. The call started with a fancy offer about upgrading my phone, then they claimed they’d match my existing contract price if it was cheaper, which sounded a bit off to me. When I got passed on to someone else, the new person had no clue about any deal they supposedly promised. During the chat, I even said I’d checked the company’s real website and their live chat said the number was fake. That seemed to make them really annoyed and kinda funny to listen to.
