I recently received a call from a chap who said he was with O2, but I didn’t reach out to them at all! It felt very much like he was pushing some unwanted deals my way. Quite dubious, if you ask me.

I just had a rather dubious phone call from someone who sounded like they were putting on a bit of a show with their accent, claiming to be connected with Currys PC World. They were rambling on about some supposed offers. Don't be fooled by these tricksters! We've all got enough on our plates with the rising costs of living as it is.

Received a call from Wales, purporting to be a mobile phone provider touting some sort of discounts. The chap had a thick Indian accent, and I barely caught a word he said. I mentioned this to him and ended the call rather abruptly.

Received a dodgy call suggesting I could get a brand new iPhone—definitely fishy! Within moments, the caller was prattling on about my "card details and PIN", which set off all sorts of alarms in my mind. I had no time for that nonsense, so I told him to jog on, hung up, and swiftly blocked the number.
