I’ve received numerous unsolicited calls on my home phone lately.

I received a call from this number at 13:49 on the 16th of April, 2020, but after checking out this site, I decided against returning the call.

It appears to be some sort of insurance scheme. I’m not a policyholder with them, so I reckon they might be attempting to drum up business through unsolicited calls.

I just received a call from someone claiming to be from Benefits UK.

I recently received a rather persistent phone call purporting to be from Home Direct, the insurance firm based in Witney, Oxfordshire. During my time as a customer, they’ve never resorted to cold calling me; any communications I’ve received were always in writing. Now, receiving this daily call at the same hour has left me suspicious, and I can't help but suspect it's a nuisance call masquerading as Home Direct. I've taken the liberty of reporting this on the ICO website for their records.

I've received a call from a number linked to Home Direct, a home insurance provider I actually use. It might be a genuine call regarding my policy, so I'm tempted to pick up if they ring again. On the other hand, it could very well just be them trying their luck with cold calls. I'll keep my wits about me!

I'm pretty certain this is an insurance firm. For my part, I've got my coverage sorted with Home Direct, and they hardly ever ring me – only drop me a line if there's something worth mentioning. It feels much more like a cold call to me, to be honest.
