This phone number is legitimate, but they really don’t seem to grasp the concept of 'no'. Even after I mentioned that their insurance quote was rather pricey, they kept persisting.

This morning, I had a call from Howdens, previously known as A Plan, regarding my house insurance that’s due for renewal. I confirmed that the details she provided were accurate and mentioned that I'd prefer to visit the office in person. I never carry out transactions online or via phone calls. The lady on the other end was quite polite and professional. It seems legit to me.

Received a call from someone claiming I had requested a car insurance quote. I mentioned that I hadn’t made any such request. They rather impolitely insisted that I had and abruptly ended the call when I inquired about the details of how the request was supposedly made. They might be on the up and up, but a bit of courtesy wouldn’t go amiss!

Received a call from this number last week and they've tried again today. I picked up the first time and could hear a bloke chattering away, but then the signal dropped, and I lost the connection. I decided to ignore their second attempt, as I have a strong hunch it’s some sort of sales pitch or promotional nonsense.
