An automated female voice informed me that there allegedly had been questionable transactions on my bank account, but she failed to mention my name or the name of the bank. There were two amounts that she referenced: one was £300 and the other a grand. I was presented with two buttons to select, but opted to not engage with either option and simply ended the call. Oddly enough, I was logged into my bank account simultaneously and didn't see anything out of the ordinary at all.3 yearsReceived a call from a number I didn’t recognise. A woman’s voice came on, claiming to be from “bank security.” She mentioned there were two transactions on my card amounting to more than £1000, which sounded dodgy since I’d never dealt with those merchants before.
