Someone reached out to help fix my mum's damp bathroom at no cost. When I mentioned that it's a responsibility of the local council, they just shrugged and said they'd take care of it anyway. Definitely sounds like a dodgy con to me.

I received a call that purported to be from EE, attempting to sell me a SIM package. However, I have my doubts about the legitimacy of the caller, as he had a distinctly Asian accent and seemed more interested in fishing for my banking details. When I reached out to EE directly to verify, they informed me that this number isn’t associated with them at all. Definitely seems fishy!

I got a call on the 25th of May 2023 at 2:08 PM. I picked up the phone, but there was nobody on the other end. I said 'Hello' a few times, and then I heard some strange electronic noise before the line went dead. It's quite frustrating, especially since I'm currently expecting an important call about some medical tests.

This morning, I had a call from this number, which my phone flagged as POSSIBLE FRAUD. As such, I decided to let it ring. I’m quite cautious—I don’t pick up calls from numbers I'm not familiar with unless I’m waiting on someone specific. Similarly, I’ve made it a rule not to return calls from unknown numbers that I've missed. Better safe than sorry, I say!

Just had a right laugh with some dodgy chap claiming to be from Blackrock Trading! Can you believe it? I was winding him up with a few jokes, and after a while, he just couldn't take it anymore and hung up the phone. Utterly ridiculous! Anyway, I've made sure to BLOCK that number!

I had a rather unsettling phone call supposedly from HMRC, claiming that I have an outstanding tax debt. The caller, a woman with an Indian accent, didn’t even have my proper address. She went on about how an officer attempted to deliver a letter to me but was unable to do so. Apparently, that means there’s a warrant out for my arrest now… how curious! 🤨

Gave the mobile a ring this morning, but they didn’t pick up. I didn’t recognise the number and had a hunch it might be a scammer.

It seems that a call came through from the EE network, but since I’m not a customer with them, I decided to terminate the call straight away. Definitely wouldn’t recommend picking up; it has all the hallmarks of a scam.

I received a call from a lady who had quite a heavy accent claiming to be with the EE network. As I'm not affiliated with EE at all, I promptly ended the call. I wouldn't recommend answering if you get a similar call.
