Got a call from someone claiming to be Domestic and General about washing machine insurance. They rang me early, around 7:50am, and then again later saying they wanted to give me a refund to a credit card I had to cancel and change last year. It felt dodgy because why on earth would they ask for bank details just to send money back to a credit card? Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

For the past few days I've been getting calls about paying back some extra charge on my washing machine warranty. After a bit, a woman spoke, sounded like she had that annoying East London accent you hear on Eastenders or something.
