My elderly mother has been inundated with calls from this number in recent days, even after she explicitly requested them to cease contact. They claim to be from a warranty company and insist they wish to process a refund for her. However, they then go on to ask for her card information to carry out this supposed refund. It’s quite evident they are attempting to swindle her out of her money.

I received a call from 01993221037 today. It was a rather unpleasant chap, clearly of Asian descent, who had the audacity to ask for me. He kept butchering my name, and when I pointed it out, he just snickered—his laugh was quite disdainful, to be honest. It feels like he fancies himself as someone who can intimidate the elderly or less assertive folk. Quite rude, if you ask me!

Earlier today, around three hours past, I received a call from a woman who had a noticeable foreign accent. She mentioned my postcode, which, I must say, hasn’t been accurate for over a decade. She claimed to be assisting with some sort of paperwork to retrieve 20% of my tax from HMRC. I promptly informed her that her claims were nonsense, and to my surprise, she promptly disconnected the call.
