I got a call from someone named Jenny Wilson who said she was from Virgin Media. She told me there were issues with my internet and kept pushing me to sign into my laptop while we were talking. I wasn’t having any of it and questioned her. She got visibly irritated, threatening to cut off my broadband by midnight if I didn’t cooperate. What really gave it away was the number she was calling from - it had a Hertfordshire area code, but she said she was calling from an EC1A 7AJ address. Definitely a scam, so watch out!
