They’re definitely getting craftier these days. I just got a call from a number with a local area code, which made me pick up, only to hear that same recorded message claiming to be from Amazon or some kind of bank security. The usual story - supposedly £300 withdrawn from my account plus a £1,100 international transfer. Watch out folks, these scams are no joke.
