Not happy, got called by them two times already today!

Ever since we gave our landline number to the NHS track and trace folks, I've been bombarded with calls from all sorts of different numbers. Looks like scammers or spammers are having a field day with it. Proper annoying!

Got a call from this number but no one replied, so I just blocked it. Lately, loads of strange calls have been popping up from 0770 mobiles and some other random numbers too. The voicemail was in Chinese as well. I’d say best to just ignore calls like this from now on.

They’ve got some kind of system that only kicks in when you talk, then it throws lots of options at you like press 1 for this or 2 for that.
If you just stay quiet when you pick up, it hangs up by itself in under 10 seconds.

At about 11:02 this morning, I got a call from 01990 670705. All I could catch was some voice telling me to press a button, so naturally I pressed it.

Got a voicemail saying my NI number was suspended by the government, so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. I’d seen warnings about not answering calls from that number beforehand.

Got a call claiming to be from my internet company saying they’d cut my service because of some illegal stuff. Told me to press 1 to speak to an 'executive', but as soon as I did, they hung up. I rang EE afterwards and my account was totally fine, nothing wrong at all. Definitely a scam. If you press #1 like they say, they hit you with a £10 charge.

Got a call today, some recorded voice saying BT was gonna cut off my internet and phone. Just hung up straight away.

Got a recorded call today from 01990 393158 warning that BT was about to cut off my phone and internet unless I pressed 1. It happened twice! Tried calling the number back but it didn’t show up as a proper contact, just an unknown caller. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Visa. They told me to press any key if I wanted to talk to someone, felt a bit dodgy to me.

01990 661279 keeps calling me and its defo a scam. On the same day, other numbers called me and left an identical voicemail about my internet and landline getting cut off. If you’re with BT, just call 1572 and choose option 1 to block them. Heard this is the best way to stop all these annoying calls.

Got a call saying my internet and phone would get cut off today if I didn’t press one to fix it. I just hung up straight away.
