A bloke with an accent from India rang me, saying there was an issue with my PC. Luckily, I’d just seen a TV show about scammers last night, where folks shared stories about getting caught out by calls like this. Honestly, don't get into any chat with these types - they're well-known fakes pretending to be from Microsoft. I've saved this number now and won’t be picking up if it calls again. I'd tell anyone reading to steer clear too.

Really annoying and keeps calling nonstop.

This number just rang me, and a woman said she was from Microsoft saying my computer had an issue. I told her I don’t even own a computer, and she just ended the call right there.

Got a ring from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was with Microsoft. Then an Indian bloke took over the call and started saying there were viruses on my computer and tried to get me to let him access it remotely, saying he was from Microsoft support. I ended the call pretty sharpish. The number was 019899614986.

Got a call from these lot - pure scam. Just tell 'em straight up to shove it or use whatever words you fancy. They hang up quick enough.

Got two calls from someone with an Indian accent, first a woman then a bloke, both said they were from Microsoft warning me about a virus on my PC. I just hung up straight away.
