These scammers called me pretending to be from the ‘electricity meter department’. When I asked which company they were with, they quickly tried changing the topic and moving on with their trick. Be careful and don’t ever give out your details to calls like this.

Somebody rang claiming to be from npower, but i looked into it and that wasn’t true at all. They said only npower could have my mpan number, which is rubbish. Then they told me i was owed a refund of £1000 for paying too much, which caught me off guard. When i wouldn’t give out my details and asked what my last bill was, they then threatened i’d get a bill for £2000. What a bunch of cheats. Totally disgusting behaviour.
