Honestly, these calls never stop. It’s usually some woman from India calling constantly and sometimes they pretend to be BT or some other firm. It’s been going on for more than two years now. Another number I keep getting calls from is 01987234002 - what can we do to block these scam callers? The first call I got was at 3.40pm on 31st October, and then today at 10.49am 01233640243 called me. It’s really frustrating.

Got a call from a woman saying I should’ve received a letter about support for renovating my kitchen and bathroom. She wanted to discuss different options but I told her I’d only just done them both recently. She sounded sorry and then asked if I was interested in double glazing or a conservatory.
Clearly just a cold call. Honestly, the TPS feels useless these days. I mentioned I’m registered and asked to be removed from their calling list, but we’ll see if that actually happens!

The person rang and started by asking me to verify my name and address. Then they said something like, "Your windows and doors are older than ten years." I refused to share any details, and they just said they were only trying to ask. I made it clear I never give info on the phone, and after that, they just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone who sounded like they were checking if I wanted new windows and doors sold to me.

The call started off with some really loud music blasting through the phone. I answered with, “Maesteg Police Station, how can I assist you?” and after a pause, the person said “Hello...” I repeated my initial greeting, but then the call just ended. Honestly, what’s the use of being on the TPS list if this keeps happening? Also, why is it so tricky to get proper laws in place to stop these nuisance cold calls?

She started by asking me for my address and name, even though she clearly already had that info. So I turned it around and asked who she was and where she was calling from. She just snapped back, saying I had to answer her questions first. I then replied with a silly German accent, “yafol”, and she just hung up right away. Can't stand those annoying cold callers!
