One of my mates recently received a rather alarming phone call from this number, which basically warned her that her internet service was on the chopping block. I decided to investigate and found out that the number traces back to the Isle of Wight. Oddly enough, there didn't seem to be any prior complaints about it causing a stir. The callers sounded quite unpleasant, to say the least. I advised her to ignore it, as I’m pretty certain they have no affiliation with BT. I’d encourage everyone to chuck this number into the junk drawer and spread the word, particularly to the older generation who might be more vulnerable with these things. Cheers! ARL.
