Dont know anyone in London and never shared my info with anyone. I always pay cash and deal in person so theres no way these scammers should have my details. Feels weird getting a call this afternoon from 02058651761, especially after a dodgy text this morning saying I have 13k in my bank. I wish! These scumbags need to be stopped. Everyone should report this to Action Fraud.

Proper awful SCAMMERS, really. Never hand over any details to them. But if you’re up for it, just waste their time - keep ’em waiting on the phone, say your computer’s moving at a snail’s pace, or explain you gotta pop to the loo or make a cuppa. If nothing works, just thank them for their time and end the call.

Got a call first thing this morning from some bloke called ‘John’ with a strong Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. I hung up straight away cos it sounded dodgy. Just had another call from him and I told him I was recording it, asked him to carry on. He ended up telling me to go **** myself. Honestly, it’s about time these scammers got sorted out for good.

Totally with what’s been said here - I know my way around computers and this guy calling from abroad was really forceful. Even when I challenged what he was pushing, he got quite nasty and even asked my age, implying I was too old to get what he was saying (I sound way younger than my 54 years). It was just crazy. Shame if anyone else falls for this trick. We should definitely warn people to steer clear of this number.

Had a ring from a lady with a foreign accent at half eight this morning. Asked her why she was calling so early, but she just brushed it off. Seemed like she wanted access to my computer or something. I told her I don’t even own one, then she just cut the call. Definitely one of those Microsoft virus scam calls. Microsoft would never randomly call you like that. I really wish the authorities would crack down on these scammers!

tel:01982551364 Rang me today claiming they were from Microsoft saying my PC had issues. I let him go on for a bit then shouted it was rubbish. He then started yelling at me telling me to listen, I told him no, you listen. I shouted louder saying it’s defo a scam and I’ll be reporting it. He got rude, swearing and laughing saying I’ll pay for the call. I hung up quick smart. Luckily no call back so far. Now waiting on hold trying to get through to Action Fraud.

Got one of those typical 'Microsoft' scam calls yesterday. I picked up and told them straight "Does anyone seriously think people in the UK fall for this anymore?" Had to say it twice coz the bloke on the line spoke rubbish and hardly got what I was saying, but as soon as he twigged, he just ended the call!

This number rang me early this morning, about 8am, waking me up. The caller was Asian, but their English was so poor I barely caught a word except 'computer'. Since I had just come back late from Germany the night before and was still groggy, I actually thought the bloke was trying to speak German - though terribly and all over the place. It wasn’t until he clearly said "Madame, this is an important call" that I twigged it was a scam and quickly ended the call. What a dreadful nuisance this guy is. To top it off, he totally messed up my sleep.

Some bloke of Asian origin called me after turning off my sky email and claimed to be from Microsoft but working for Sky. He’d somehow got into my bank account and even set up a loan with my bank, transferring money just based on emails he’d taken over, without me getting any text to confirm. Then he tried to steal it. He also messed up my computer so it wouldn’t work.

Got a call on Friday 5th January from a bloke who said his name was Brian and claimed to be from Microsoft. Sounds like he was from South Asia, maybe Indian or Pakistani, so I quickly hung up before he could say more, assuming it was another scam since I’ve had similar calls over the years. Brian hasn’t rang again yet, but I’m curious how they managed to get my number given that we’re ex-directory. The phone code is from Builth Wells in Central Wales, but I’d be shocked if the call actually came from there - probably rerouted from somewhere dodgy like the Bahamas.

Feeling somewhat cornered by this persistent caller who insisted he was from Microsoft, I requested his full contact information before I would entertain any further conversation. As I kept him engaged, I took the opportunity to look up the number he was calling from, which turned out to be from Tunbridge Wells. To my amusement, when I quizzed him on what county TW belonged to, he stumbled and seemed utterly clueless about counties in general. After a bit of back and forth, this chap, Jack Smith (sporting a noticeable Asian accent), finally offered me a number linked to Reading. However, once the line went silent, I discovered it had been a different number altogether that had initiated the call-one supposedly hailing from Builth Wells! Quite the cheeky endeavour, if you ask me!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He told me my PC had some issues. I told him there was nothing wrong and called him a fraud. Then he just cut the call.

Had four calls yesterday, all from different numbers but the same area code, and now two calls today claiming they’re from Microsoft. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call at 8:11 am from someone saying they were with Microsoft, telling me my computer had errors. I overheard him chatting in another language with someone else, even though he spoke to me with an American accent. I called him out, saying he was just an Indian call centre trying to scam me. That’s when he hung up. I’ve blocked that number straight away. Seriously, would Microsoft ring from a random number in Builth Wells of all places? No chance.

They rang me three times this morning saying hackers have been using my ID for crimes. I told them to leave me alone and hung up.

Just got a phone call from a guy who sounded Asian but said his name was Richard Jones, which is a really British name. He claimed he was from Microsoft and said my computer had a virus. When I asked which computer, he said "doesn't matter, just open your laptop." I told him the police were listening in on the call, and he totally lost it - started calling me horrible names and said he was coming to my house to sort me out. He was proper nasty, swearing for ages before he hung up. Obviously a scam to trick you into opening your device so they can nick your info. Really shady people.

Had another call this week, this time from someone saying they were from Microsoft, with an Asian accent. When I questioned them, they just hung up straight away. Do these people really believe we’re that gullible?

Woke up to a phone ring this morning and it was some man claiming to be from Microsoft, sounded Asian. He kept saying there's a computer here at my place. I told him I don't own any computer or laptop and he just hung up straight away.

Got a call around 8.20 in the morning, i didn’t pick up since i didn’t know the number. Later on, i looked it up and saw loads of others had been ringed from it that same day.

Got another ring from Microsoft earlier today, this time from that very number. I played along, acting like I was fiddling with my PC, keeping the guy chatting for a good ten minutes. Then I threw a few questions at him about his family, asking how he’d feel if someone tried nicking from them. Didn’t seem to bother him at all, but it felt good to waste some of his time. Had one of these dodgy calls just yesterday too - thought they’d finally stopped doing this.

I got caller ID so if the number ain't saved I just ignore it. Checked this number out here and yep, it’s a scam call like I expected. Also, seen someone mention DANJOD in the comments and can’t work out what that means lol. I really enjoy seeing some of the hilarious replies people leave though :)

Got a call at about 8.20 this morning from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Microsoft, but she hung up straight away when I mentioned I work in software engineering. Then, at 8.30, another call came through, this time a guy with a similar accent. I told him it was the second call and he just went off, started swearing and threatening me. Proper rude!

Just got a call like this. The bloke said my laptop was blacklisted. I told him, "Nobody in the UK falls for that stuff these days, you’ll need a new story." He goes, "True, not many do now, but we’re still making decent cash." Absolute joke.

So this muppet rings me up at like 8 in the morning saying he’s from Microsoft and my licence got compromised or something, and if I don’t act fast I’m gonna get blacklisted. I told him straight up I don’t even own a computer, and then he starts calling me a bloody idiot before just slamming the phone down. Total waste of time!

They ring me all the time now, but I’ve stopped picking up. I wish I could block the number, but my phone's storage is stuffed with past blocked calls from endless telemarketers.

Had an Asian lady ring me for the fourth time within an hour now. Proper annoying this is, and I'm signed up to the TPS to block these calls, but it seems to make no difference - getting more spam calls than ever before.

Woke up to a call at 7:23am from a guy named Shaun, who had an Asian accent. He was rambling about my Microsoft laptop or something. Told him I already got three calls like that yesterday and then just ended the call. Put his number on block straight away. Saw he tried ringing again around 8:12 but the phone didn't even ring since it was blocked. Dunno what can be done to make these lot stop but honestly, it's getting beyond annoying now.

I got a call from a lady saying she was with Microsoft and my computer had an issue. I told her to stop calling me since I've been getting these calls every day. She kept insisting that there was a problem with my PC and I had to pay attention. When I told her she was harassing me, she started shouting and being really rude, so I ended the call. Such miserable people!
