Got a call from a lady claiming to be ‘technical support’. She asked if my PC was used just by me or by my whole family. When I asked what she needed to know that for, she just ended the call.

got a call from a really nice sounding woman, she even said sorry when i told her i don’t own a computer (just use the local library’s one). definitely feels like a scam tho, i’m thinking of keeping track of all these calls and their numbers from now on.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft about some virus and junk software on my computer. I played along for a bit, but then told them I actually use a Mac. They then tried to steer me towards some dodgy website to keep pushing their supposed Microsoft fix, but promised to help me with my Mac instead. Yeah right, like I’m falling for that! Total scammer alert!

Got a call from this number earlier today and when I answered, no one said anything. Annoying nuisance for sure. Caller ID showed unknown.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent and when I said I wanted to know who it was first before speaking to my husband, he just ignored me and kept going. Then he started asking me what my operating system was, which was a bit odd, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from Microsoft, saying my PC was full of viruses and junk programs. I played along for a bit, then told them I actually use a Mac. That’s when the bloke started trying to push me onto some dodgy website to continue his scam. “From Microsoft, but I’ll fix your Mac,” he said. Yeah right, I’m not daft! Definitely a SCAMMER.

Got a call around 9 in the morning and a bloke with an Asian accent wanted to talk to my missus by name. When I said she wasn’t about, he just ended the call right away without saying anything else or leaving a message.

This number rang me during the afternoon, I picked up since it wasn’t a hidden caller ID. The voice sounded like it was from somewhere in Asia, but there was loads of static and background noise. They asked my name briefly, then just cut off the call without saying anything else. When I tried to ring them back, the number wasn’t even recognised on my phone at all. Strange experience!

Got a ring from this number a minute ago, they were asking for my hubby who’s been gone for 5 years now. I told them to take me off their list, but the bloke with a Pakistani accent just carried on blabbering about my computer being hacked or something. I told him to jog on, said I’d report him for fraud and then hung up. Afterwards, I tried to report it to the TPS but apparently they don’t deal with these types of calls and said I should contact trading standards instead. What a nightmare.

Got a call from an unknown number earlier, tried calling it back but then it said the number you dialled couldn't be found or recognised? Really strange!

I got a ring the other day from this number claiming to be from Microsoft’s IT support, offering to help with Windows 10 updates or something. I told the lady I wasn’t interested, but she just kept shouting that if I refused now, I’d miss out on future help from the IT folks. I just let her chat for a bit, then ended the call knowing full well it was a scam - she was clearly trying to get me to follow dodgy instructions to hack my PC. Honestly, watch out - these scammers are getting clever and pretending it’s Windows 10 problems now. Don't fall for it!

This number called me out of the blue and I didn't recognise it. When I tried ringing back, I got a weird message saying the number wasn’t valid or something like that. Feels a bit dodgy, maybe a scam?
