Got a call from a woman saying she was from “online support,” but when I asked what company she was with, she had no idea. She kept saying my computer was infected with viruses. Recently, I’ve been getting a handful of calls every day, 3 or 4, all from different scam numbers with the same area code. Pretty sure it’s one of those typical Indian call centre scams.
