Got a call from some bloke asking for me. My 11 year old answered and as soon as he said I wasn’t there, the guy started trying to pull a fast one on him. Thankfully, my son handed the phone over to me straight away. Proper foul behaviour!

I got a really annoying lady on the phone who wanted me to let her get into my computer to fix some virus. The moment I told her no and questioned her, she just cut me off straight away.

A lady called me earlier, asking me to turn on my computer. When I asked what for, she claimed she wanted to check my junk files. I told her I hadn’t called any tech support and suspected this was a scam. As I was about to end the call, I mentioned the word ‘scam’ and she immediately cut me off before I could say more.

This was the third time I’ve had that “computer scam” call today. When she rang, I said hang on a sec while I switched on the computer, which honestly doesn’t take long. She stuck around...and kept waiting...and kept waiting,... eventually she seemed to realise I wasn’t going anywhere and just hung up.

Some bloke called me saying I was on my PC and offered to help with virus protection. Thing is, I wasn't even on it. The computer at our place is actually in my hubby's name, not mine. When I pointed out he had the wrong person and that he was ruining my evening, he rudely told me to just hang up and be quiet! Proper disrespectful!

Got a call like others here have mentioned. This woman was telling me there was rubbish on my computer and she could sort it out. I asked her, "Which one? I’ve got two." Then told her she was talking nonsense and that I’d recently reinstalled everything on both. Told her to take a hike and stopped the call. This is the fourth time this month I’ve had these scam calls.
