Got a call from 01978 822 875, Wrexham area, on 22nd November 2018 around 5.44pm. The person on the other end claimed I could get a PPI refund. I told them I’d already claimed everything I was due. They said they’d look into it and ring me again. That was the last I heard. Seems dodgy to me, beware of scams like this!

We’re registered with TPS but still get heaps of calls from dodgy numbers - this one was pretty much the same as all the other spam calls we get. My partner picked up by accident but shut it down straight away ‘cos it was clearly dodgy. Blocked it now, obviously. So annoying! 😤😠

I got a call from someone saying they were from a life insurance firm. They kept asking for loads of my personal info, which felt a bit dodgy.

Some bloke from abroad called up saying I was owed extra PPI and tried to push life insurance on me. He said his name was Cyrus Anderson, but what a bunch of rubbish. I’ve blocked the number now, he’s phoned me about three times this week - definitely won’t be answering again.

Honestly, I have no clue what that was about, but after seeing all these comments, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up. Cheers to everyone for the heads up, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I’ve got some PPI cash that’s meant to be owed to me but every time I call those lot, it’s just a load of rubbish. I tell them to get lost and hang up. It’s mostly Indian callers, and honestly, I’ve lost all trust in any of them now.

Some bloke with an accent phoned me, saying I’d made a PPI claim back in 2016. I said that wasn’t right, but he kept saying I did. I just hung up on him.

Some bloke called about PPI from last year, claiming I was entitled to £2200. He then started going on about taxes and kept asking if I had any health issues. That’s when I said I wasn’t convinced this was legit and ended the call.

I got a call from some dodgy ppi people, pretty sure they're from India. They claimed I signed up back in September, which is complete rubbish. What’s worse, the bloke was calling me by a made-up name I once put on an online contest. Lesson learned, definitely won’t be doing that again! Stay sharp, folks, these lot are just out to scam you.

I didn’t pick up because I have no idea who’d be ringing me from Wrexham. After a quick search online, I found out more about it. Cheers to everyone who dropped a comment. I’ve blocked that number now, plus about two hundred others too.

A company called England Claim Services rang me up saying I'd be eligible for £2000. But according to them, to keep the full amount, I had to buy some sort of life insurance first. They insisted they wouldn't charge any fees and claimed they had gotten my details from another business. The bloke also mentioned my bank would grab 40% of the claim once it arrived. I told him I wasn’t interested in the life insurance and if I did receive any PIP, I'd just sort out the fee then.

Got a call from this number earlier saying my PPI claim was approved and I was owed over £2,000 back. Thing is, I never even made a claim, so I knew straight away it was a scam and they'd want my bank info next. As soon as I told 'em "that's total rubbish," they just hung up on me.

a call came through from someone claiming to be from england claim service, saying it was about my ppi claim dating back to 2017. the person asked if i recalled it, but when i said i had no idea and never made any claim, the line just went dead on them.
