3 yearsIt’s high time we put an end to these people who waste everyone’s time.3 yearsYesterday, my phone buzzed with a handful of missed calls, so when the same number rung me today, I thought I’d pick it up. On the other end, a woman mentioned that I might qualify for some sort of complimentary medical alert pendant, or the like. However, all it took was her probing about my age-specifically if I was over seventy-for me to promptly end the conversation.3 yearsI got a call from a woman claiming she needed to confirm whether I qualified for a free “medical alert.” She began asking about my age and other personal info. It was pretty clear to me it was some kind of scam, so I just hung up straight away.3 yearsI got a call where there was a bit of silence first, then a polite lady with a pretty clear accent said sorry for the wait and said I might qualify for a free medical alert system. She asked if I was older than 70, I answered “no” and then they just ended the call straight away!! Seems like they’re fishing for senior folks to scam. I reckon it’s some overseas operation given the lag and maybe a computer-generated voice. Proper dodgy stuff.3 yearsJust got a dodgy call - definitely a scam! If you get one too, you should report it by texting 7726. They do look into it and might help put an end to these scammers.3 yearsGot a call on my mobile from Wrexham - total scam. Honestly, best just to ignore these dodgy callers and don’t pick up!Wrexham3 yearsI got a call a few seconds after my phone rang, and this person said sorry to disturb me, her name was Sara, and that I had been chosen for solar panels. I quickly ended the call because I had a feeling it was a scam.Sara3 yearsThis number rang me, but I didn’t pick up since I’ve never heard of anyone from Wrexham calling me.
