Got a message saying there was some problem with my bank card, like it had been used for two big cash withdrawals. I hung up straight away and tried calling back using 1471, but no answer. The person on the call never even asked for my name or any bank info… felt really dodgy.

In my opinion, these are all likely scams or fraud attempts, so I treat them as quite risky. Whenever I get these calls, I make sure to report them both to the Telephone Preference Service and Action Fraud.
