Spoke with a very courteous woman from the Countryside Landowners Association. In the end, it was a sales pitch but from a genuine group, which is often mixed up with dodgy calls. So I think calling the CLA harmful or annoying is a bit too strong, which is why I’ve rated it Neutral.

01978358116 rang me about my internet. I told him I don’t even have internet. He kept insisting I’d missed a payment for it. I repeated I didn’t have internet and then he started shouting and being really nasty. I just let him talk for about 5 minutes, then I put the phone down and left it off the hook. It felt quite intimidating and a bit threatening.

A woman rang me and mentioned she was representing the CLR, the country land register. She called out my name, which caught me off guard. I made it clear that I didn’t wish to receive any further calls and requested that she take my details off her records. After that, she abruptly ended the call!
