Normally I don’t pick up the landline but I did this time. Some bloke with a funny accent told me to pay attention ‘cause it was about stopping scam calls coming into the UK from overseas. I told him I’d just speak to my phone company about it. Then he said they wouldn’t be able to sort it out and I just ended the call.
