Someone rang me saying they were with BT and wanted me to get an app called Quick Support. The first call came from an 01288 number and I got a bit iffy, so I ended the call. Then another call came through from a 01975 number but my phone showed it as “international”, so I didn’t pick up. In that first chat, they claimed my internet had viruses and would be offline for about 12 hours.
