I received a garbled automated call informing me that my internet connection was about to be cut off. It seems like yet another scam attempt.

They've called me twice already today! I hung up both times, liberally cursing as I did so. Honestly, I fully expect them to ring me again—it’s quite the spectacle, really! They claim to be from BT and warn that my line's supposed to be compromised, threatening to disconnect me if I don’t press 1 or 2. (It’s always a woman’s voice, isn’t it?) Quite the amusing way to vent some frustration, if nothing else!

The text-to-speech software sounds like it was cobbled together with an American accent, yet the grammar is all over the place and it’s evident that it doesn't hail from the States. The ramblings about the phone line make no sense whatsoever.

Received a call at precisely 14:34 today. The caller left a voicemail, but it was a woman's voice with a strong American accent mentioning BT. Unfortunately, the message was quite garbled and difficult to make out.

Received a call supposedly from a BT engineer with an American twang. They mentioned something about my internet on the verge of "terminating." However, the moment I dialled back, I was greeted by an Indian accent. I hung up immediately without uttering a word. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?

I've received two calls from this number today. It was an automated message in an American accent, and I could barely make out "California" and "BT." The rest of it was incomprehensible. Looks like yet another dodgy call to me!

It’s a dodgy setup, that’s for sure! As soon as you pick up, you’re greeted by a crackly voice of an American lady claiming to be from BT, telling you your internet service is in peril and will be cut off. Do yourself a favour and just hang up. No point in engaging with this nonsense!

Received a couple of calls earlier today. First time, it was just dead air. The second call had a pre-recorded message claiming that my BT internet’s been hacked. The thing is, I'm not even a BT customer! What a bunch of scammers!

Sounds like a dodgy scam to me! I received a call from an automated voice telling me that my internet service was about to be disconnected. I chose to disregard the first attempt, but lo and behold, they tried again just twenty minutes later. This time, though, it was complete radio silence!

It seems I’ve received a dodgy call claiming to be from BT, complete with an automated message offering me some options. Apparently, they’re stating that my internet is on the verge of being disconnected. Honestly, I’d recommend steering clear or putting them on block!

I picked up the phone, and a chap with an Asian accent introduced himself as being from BT. He warned me that my internet connection would be 'cut off' the next day, which is a bit rich considering I'm not even with BT! Strangely, the number vanishes from my caller ID once I check it, so blocking it is a bit tricky. I reckon it's wise to jot down these numbers for future blocking.

I received a pre-recorded message claiming that my British Telecom internet connection had been compromised by an exchange based out in California, threatening to cut me off unless I took some action, which frankly sounded fishy! Totally a scam!

I spotted a number pop up on my caller ID and felt a bit uneasy when the voice on the other end introduced themselves as the “technical department” with an Asian inflection. They proceeded to mention BT and requested my phone number, which I wisely withheld. It seems to me that these scammers are getting ever more clever in their tactics.
