I received a rather concerning phone call from this number, claiming there had been a road incident. They brought up my ex-wife's name, which left me rather anxious since I had no idea if she was involved. When I pressed for further details, like the registration number, they couldn’t provide it, insisting I needed to confirm that first for them to proceed with any payment. They left me a contact number in Glasgow, 0141 345 2476, and told me to ring back for more information. Strangely, they assured me that no sensitive info or banking details would be required and that any payout would be issued via a cheque. Quite fishy, if you ask me!

They didn’t even bother leaving a voicemail, so it’s pretty obvious it’s a scam, no need to guess.

I received a call a short while ago from a number I didn’t recognise, so I decided to let it slide. If it’s truly significant, they ought to have the courtesy to leave a voicemail. Since there was no message left, I've now added the number to my blocked list.

Blimey! This chap clearly took me for a total muppet. He was rabbiting on, insisting I was caught up in some sort of car crash, completely oblivious to the fact that I neither own a car nor possess a driving licence. He was pushing to chat about a claim related to this supposed incident. The moment he started probing for my bank information, I had no choice but to hang up!
