A man identified himself as conducting a market survey but chose not to pursue the conversation further.

A courteous young woman rang me up the other day. She kicked things off by discussing potential ways to help me reduce my household expenses. However, she rattled off her pitch at such a pace that I couldn't quite catch the name of the company. When I asked her to clarify, she abruptly ended the call without uttering another word.
It strikes me that they might be conducting some sort of survey, perhaps with the intention of peddling the information to businesses keen on services like double glazing or insulation, among others.

I had a rather courteous gentleman on the line who expressed his gratitude for me picking up. He inquired whether I was the owner of the property. I replied that I wasn't, but I could provide the contact details for the housing association. He declined, saying he'd reach out at another time. I then suggested he shouldn’t trouble himself with that and requested that he remove my name from his list. He agreed and thanked me for the conversation.

I just had a rather bothersome call asking if I was eligible for a £2000 grant. Sounds like another scam to me. I simply ended the conversation.

We seem to receive calls from this number quite frequently, yet we choose not to engage. It's becoming rather tiresome to be bothered by these calls. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we might be able to stop them?
