I've received three calls from this number now. I answered the first one, and the person on the other end claimed to be from the police, but honestly, they sounded rather robotic.

Received a call regarding a supposed phone upgrade, which struck me as odd since I’m not even tied to a contract anymore! They mentioned sending me a reassuring text, but I had already gotten that message the previous day and straight away dismissed it as rubbish before blocking the number. So, I just ended the call right away.

I received an inquiry from someone inquiring whether it was true that I had been involved in a car crash that wasn’t my doing. Their tone came off rather mechanical, so I figured it must be a scam. The truth is, I've never been in a car accident whatsoever!

The phone rang out of the blue, and when I answered, I could make out some chatter in the distance. Despite my attempts to say hello, there was no response, and before I knew it, the caller had disconnected.

I received three calls today from a number linked to ‘Get Connected’. I can only assume they're trying to persuade me to upgrade my device through their service rather than sticking with my current provider. I've had enough of their persistence, so I’ve blocked the number now!
