I recently received a dodgy call from Aberystwyth but decided against picking up.

Had a ring from an unknown number, but they didn't bother with a voicemail. I've looked it up and decided to block them. It seems I've been bombarded with these nuisance calls more often in the past few weeks. Honestly, isn’t it about time we put an end to these call centres? Enough is enough!

Received a call from someone with a pronounced Indian accent who seemed eager to pose five questions. I ended up cutting the conversation short and decided to block the number.

I just had a rather odd phone call wherein the caller addressed me by my full name. He claimed he wanted to pose a few queries, which piqued my curiosity. However, when I inquired about his identity, he abruptly disconnected! Quite peculiar, and he did have a foreign accent too.

Received a call about my computer supposedly being “infected with a virus.” I instantly recognised it as a con but thought it’d be entertaining to string them along. Ended up on hold for nearly half an hour, only for the line to drop out of the blue. On top of that, the background music sounded suspiciously like something off a YouTube royalty-free playlist!
