Got a call just after 8:30 this morning. Didn’t have my specs on, so I mixed up the number with my own area code. Some mechanical American lady’s voice came on, claiming it was BT and that my internet provider was involved in some nonsense. Didn’t hang about - ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Honestly, this scam's been around so long it should be getting a pension by now!
