A guy with an Asian accent rang me, said his name was Simon and that he worked for Telephone Preference Management. He claimed my account was being updated to stop me getting spam or marketing calls. Then he tried to 'confirm' my details but gave me an incorrect address and postcode. When I pointed this out, he asked if I’d recently changed address. I told him I’d never lived there and asked him to tell me his address. When I said I don’t share personal info with strangers he just ended the call.
