Got a call from this number earlier today. They claimed someone was trying to buy stuff on Amazon using my name. I just knew it was dodgy, so I ended the call straight away. Had a look at my Amazon account afterwards and, as expected, everything was fine. For ages now, I keep getting these automated calls pretending to be Amazon, telling me my supposed £39.99 membership is up for renewal - but I don’t even have a membership like that!
