7 yearsGot a call from some woman with an American accent claiming my internet IP address was about to change and that my broadband would be disconnected within a day unless I talked to their engineer straight away. It was an automated message. Seems odd - if they really had my IP info, why wouldn’t they just email me? Plus, how could they connect an email to my phone number when there’s no link on any online record? Feels like a new kind of scam to me. She called again with the exact same spiel four days later.
