I answered a call from someone with a distinct foreign accent who was insisting he worked for O2. He mentioned something about my loyalty to them and offered me a whopping 50% off my contract. Quite odd, given that I’m actually with 3 Mobile.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from O2, offering me a 50% discount for being a loyal customer, which is odd as I only joined them a few weeks ago. She said she’d send me a one-time code and warned me not to share it with anyone. I told her I’d prefer if she could verify it via email instead, and then she started acting weird, pushing me to give her the code. That was enough for me, so I just hung up.

Got a call from Amara at O2, her accent was really strong, sounded Indian. When I asked her to go through my security questions, she just cut me off. Well, at least this time it was a woman calling, not that bloke she usually sends!

Got a call from someone claiming I was getting a bonus for sticking with 02, which is bonkers since I haven't been with them in over ten years. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam to me.

They keep calling saying they’re from O2 and want to offer me a third off my monthly standing charge. When I ask what that charge even covers, they have no clue and just hang up on me.

This number rang me saying they were from O2, but I’m not convinced it’s legit. Actually, I got another call like that just the day before, but that one came from a number in Northampton and some other one from London. I usually just ignore calls from unknown numbers, especially when they say they’re from big companies like O2 - could easily be a scam.
