Some bloke rang saying he was from HSBC and that there’d been dodgy stuff going on with my account. He wanted to check if he was speaking to the actual account holder, so he started asking for my login info. I said I wasn’t comfortable with that, but he insisted it was fine since he wasn’t asking for my password or PIN. I said I’d ring back, but he wouldn’t give me a contact number. So I just ended the call and contacted the bank myself.

Got a call from someone saying they're with HSBC's fraud team. They said they needed to verify my bank account details to look for any dodgy transactions. When I asked for a number to ring them back, they wouldn't give me one. At first, it sounded quite convincing but then the questions became way too much. So, I just ended the call and phoned my bank directly to be safe.
