Got a call from this number earlier today and an automated voice claimed that £600 had been withdrawn from my bank account. It asked me to hit 1 on the keypad, but I didn`t bother. Felt quite suspicious to me. I reckon if you press 1, it might link you to a costly premium rate line. Honestly, seems like a bit of a risk to me.

Loads of times we've had calls from people acting like they're from BT, warning us that our internet will be disconnected within a day - always the same lady speaking with an American accent. Lately, we've also got a message claiming to be from Amazon, like the one we got this morning. We just put the phone down as soon as they start talking.
