I received two calls from this number just a minute apart, and I'm pretty convinced it's a scam.

This was definitely a dodgy call—one of those phishing scams cleverly disguised as a survey. They insisted they weren't trying to sell me anything, but I'm not falling for that! I would never share my personal information with some unsolicited survey like that. Absolute rubbish!

Got a random call I wasn't expecting...they hung up as soon as I picked up the phone.

I just received a rather unexpected phone call from a chap inquiring whether I owned a car. When I mentioned my disinterest in participating in surveys or chatting about it, he took quite offence. I asked for his company details, and amusingly, he queried why I was asking when I wasn’t keen on providing him with answers. Quite the impolite exchange!

Received a call from this number, looking to inquire whether I own or rent my property. They also seemed keen to find out what age group I fall into. When I declined to provide that information, the caller simply hung up on me. Quite odd!

Received a call but no voicemail was left. I could hear lots of call centre commotion in the background, which has all the makings of another dodgy scam.

Received a call from this number, seemingly linked to Cambridge. An Indian gentleman was on the line, but he mispronounced my name quite badly. There was a considerable amount of call centre chatter in the backdrop, which prompted me to hang up and subsequently block the number.

I've received numerous calls recently from a chap claiming to be from the UK, always starting off with that same tedious small talk—'How are you?' and all that jazz. Honestly, I've had at least six or nine calls from different numbers all bearing the exact same script. Each time I tell them to take me off their list, they promptly hang up! Quite tiresome, really.
