I haven’t a clue what they were after, other than trying to make a point about how if they needed to chat with anyone else, they’d have requested them directly. It had nothing whatsoever to do with me-what a lack of manners!

I’m not entirely sure what his intentions were, apart from wanting to chat with the fellow responsible for telecommunications. He did, however, seem keen to debate the subject of the Telephone Preference Service and insisted that we should feature that information prominently on our site. My stance is that it should be their responsibility to consult the TPS register prior to making any marketing calls. The onus falls on them to verify, rather than on us to provide that information on our website, in directories, or anywhere else where we wish our number to be visible to clients.
