01952475497 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01952475497 👆 is reported as a nuisance number frequently impersonating the NHS, often in a call centre style with Indian-accented callers. They typically inquire about Covid-19 vaccinations and family health before shifting focus to probing personal details on life and medical insurance, which raises suspicions. Many recipients note aggressive or evasive behaviour when questioned, and no official NHS representative would request such comprehensive insurance information by phone. The call often ends abruptly or with threats when users refuse to disclose information. Caution is advised; the number appears linked to scams targeting personal and financial data. It is recommended not to engage or share details and to report calls to the relevant authorities. Blocking the number is commonly advised.

Just disregard these pesky individuals who are clearly just out for a bit of a faff.

I received a call from someone with an Indian accent who purportedly was representing the NHS, inquiring about my vaccination history and Covid-19 shots. Soon enough, he veered the conversation towards medical insurance. I've promptly blocked the number!

They said something about a PPI claim and that I’m owed £3,500, but when I pressed for more info, they couldn’t really explain. I asked if I'd get a letter to prove it, and the first time they said "yes, but not just yet.” When I followed up, they said the letter would come "tomorrow." I didn’t give them any of my details over the phone and told them I’d wait for the letter. Then they just hung up on me.

They claimed to be from the NHS, but then suddenly they started asking questions about my life insurance!

So I got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent saying she was from the NHS. She was asking me about the vaccine and if I’d experienced any side effects. Then she suddenly switched to questions about life insurance. When I asked her why she needed that info, she just cut the call straight away. Weird experience.

They started off quiet but then just dropped the call.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be the NHS, asking for my personal info. Be careful and definitely report it to the police if you get the same.

Someone from a call centre rang me pretending to be from the NHS, asking if I’d experienced any side effects and whether my family was alright. I was fine sharing that everyone’s healthy, but as soon as they started asking about my life and health insurance info, I just went quiet. They already had my name and postcode spot on, which was a bit worrying.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS, but then out of nowhere they started pushing life insurance on me. They were really pushy and quite rude about it. Not impressed at all.

Got a call from someone saying they’re with the NHS checking on Covid vaccines. They knew my name and wanted to know if me and my family had gotten our jabs and if everyone was well. Then out of nowhere, they started asking about my life insurance. I didn’t bother talking after that and just hung up.

Got a call from a number in Telford and straight away I could tell it was one of those scam calls. Had a quick look it up on this site and, no surprise, my suspicions were spot on. When will these pesky scammers just leave us alone? Blocked them straight away.

Got a random call the other day, sounded like it was from some call centre, and the bloke said he was ringing from the NHS about the vaccine scheme. He never asked for any of my info, but then started going on about checking if I’d updated my insurance company. That’s when I just hung up the phone.

I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from the NHS, asking if I'd had my jab. I told him if he's really from the NHS, then he should already have that info. Then I said I'd hang up and check the number myself but asked him to explain what exactly he wanted and why. That's when he just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent who said she was calling on behalf of the NHS. She used my first name and asked me several questions about the covid-19 vaccine. At the end, she told me to ring 111 if it was an emergency, which I know isn’t right because the UK emergency number is 999. She didn’t ask for any personal details, so it might be legit, but I wouldn't share anything private with them just to be safe.

Got a call from this number claiming to be the NHS, asking if I've had my CV vaccinations. Then they started asking about my medical insurance and wanted personal details. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing info and they just cut the call. Very suspicious!

I had a call from someone claiming to be NHS, offering a grant on life insurance because I supposedly had both vaccines. I played along and asked for his mum’s number, then he just ended the call. Still giving it a go, thinking we’re thick!

He called and was asking for info, saying it was strange I didn’t get any side effects from the vaccine. Then I said I’d turned into a cat, and he just dropped the call. Honestly, I’m not sure what made him hang up like that?

I got a phone call from someone claiming to be with the NHS, and shockingly, they already knew my new surname even though I just got married a few days back. They began asking about the number of vaccines I've had and then suddenly shifted to questions about my private health insurance and the cost of it. It made me uncomfortable, so I ended up putting the phone down.

This felt off right from the start... they mentioned an old postcode of mine from years ago and then started asking for my current one, plus questions about health insurance and wanted more personal info. They were really insistent, so I just ended the call rather than give anything away. Claimed they were ringing on behalf of the NHS, but I told them the NHS already have all that info anyway...

This number gave me a ring three times, kept insisting it wasn’t some dodgy scam but kept pestering about who I get my life insurance from and how much my premium was. I think they eventually got a bit annoyed when I told ‘Em Don Corleone’s insurance and said the premium was a cool million quid!

Like others have said, this number rang me up asking about covid vaccinations. They quickly moved on to find out if I have any medical or life insurance and wanted my address too. Once I told them I wasn’t gonna give any info except about the jab, they got really pushy and threatened that I’d be getting a visit from the NHS legal department because apparently it’s a legal requirement to answer. Pretty sure it’s a scam - best not to engage or answer anything.

I got a call that sounded exactly like those dodgy call centres from the Indian subcontinent that keep bothering us with scam calls nowadays. When the guy said he was from the NHS, I told him I didn’t trust it and just ended the call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Just like others here, I called him out as a scammer and he ended up throwing insults at me and my relatives. I told him since he supposedly had all my info, he should come over and we could sort it out in person… then he just hung up on me!

About an hour back this number rang me, but I ignored it since I had no idea who was calling. I looked it up here and then immediately blocked it. No way I'm dealing with some scammer claiming they’re from the NHS. Honestly, even if it was legit, I wouldn’t bother.

Got a call supposedly from the NHS, asking if I’d had the covid vaccine and if there were any side effects. They also wanted to know if my family were alright. Then they started pushing about my health insurance - like who I use and how much I pay. I asked straight up if she was trying to sell me something and she said no, NHS never sells anything. But when I didn’t answer her insurance questions, she just cut the call. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.
