I had a call from someone pretending to be the "Bank Security Centre" saying they had stopped big transactions from going out of my account. They told me to "Press 1," but I knew they were just trying to get my bank info. Total scam.

Got a call once from some lotry folks saying I'd won a big jackpot (never signed up for anything like that). I got suspicious and looked up their number, then called them out on being dodgy. Right as I started questioning their “business,” they just cut me off. Later on, I rang back and gave the man a right grilling about their scammy ways. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes until he got annoyed and lost his cool. Felt pretty good to rattle him like that. Then today, I get a call from them again, this time saying I had £3000 in PPI compensation to claim. Told them I’ve never had PPI, and as soon as they knew it was me again, they hung up straight away.

This caller claims I’m due a PPI refund-hardly seems credible. Perhaps it’s time they sought a proper job instead!

Just got a call from (01952) 451749 claiming I have some PPI compensation coming to me. It sounded a bit dodgy, do you reckon it's a scam?

Got a call from an Indian bloke about a PPI thing from 2017. I told him to email me the details before I said yes to anything, and he just hung up. Pretty sure it was a con.

Got a call from an Indian bloke saying I’m due a 3,500 payout for some PPI claim. He wanted me to verify my name, address, and bank info. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I've been getting these calls from all over the UK, people asking for a 'Julia Morris'. I pick up and the call just ends straight away. It's getting so annoying. I even reported it to the Telephone Preference Service, and I'm signed up with them! But they couldn’t care less, even though I gave them the company's name and their email. Total waste of time.

Got a call saying I’m owed a PPI refund and they wanted my bank info to send the money over. I’ve never even had PPI before. Definitely just a scam.

They already had my address and name, then wanted my date of birth. After that, they asked for my sort code and bank account details, but I just ended the call.

Total scammer. They kept insisting they needed my bank info to sort out some "PPI refund" they said I was owed. Thing is, I’ve never taken out PPI before. So I just blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Got a call saying I was owed £3,500 in PPI. They already knew my date of birth, address, even my bank account number and sort code? Felt a bit dodgy. They said I should chat with their life insurance team to get a free quote for getting the refund sorted, but also told me if I mention PPI just say no. I quickly hung up after that. Proper worried about how they ended up with my banking info!

Got called by them a good few times today, at least three, about stuff like PPI claims, life insurance and even funeral plans. When I asked one of the callers how they managed to get hold of my number, they just said "your number is all over the place." That can't be right though, I'm ex-directory and signed up with the TPS. I mostly only give out my mobile now anyway. These calls are getting more frequent and honestly, pretty irritating.

This number called me three times today and every time there's just silence when I pick up, no one talks.

This number has called me twice today, and I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam. Every time I pick up, I just stay silent, and they end up hanging up. I keep blocking it and reporting it, but they still manage to get through. Honestly, why isn’t anything done about these annoying calls?

Got a recorded message telling me I was the only one in a conference call, then it said I’d been removed from the call, and after that, there was a beep and it just disconnected. Weird experience.

I got a call today and at first I thought it was legit, but then I figured out it was a scam. A few years ago, like 3, I put in a claim for PPI but I never got any updates or heard anything since.

I got a call earlier asking for my account and sort code to supposedly sort out my PPI. Told them I’d prefer a cheque and they didn’t even bother asking where to send it. Hung up on me quick enough. Guess they were hoping I’d be asleep or something! Typical scam really.

I get a call from this number almost every single day, which annoyed me enough to look them up since normally I ignore unknown callers unless I’m expecting someone. They never bother to leave a voicemail or anything which just makes it even more annoying. I have now blocked the number, so I’m curious if they’ll just stop or if they’ll try ringing me from a different phone.

Got a call from a woman named Abigail with a foreign accent claiming I was owed over £3,000 in PPI compensation. It felt dodgy to me! Definitely sounds like a con, so be careful and don’t hand over any bank info. She even wrote down my address, which made me even more suspicious.

Got a call from someone with a really odd accent but an English sounding name. He claimed he had some cash to give me and asked what bank I used. When I told him to just post me the cheque, he refused. Seemed fishy so I just ended it there, probably a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a firm handling my £3,900 refund from Lloyds Bank. They had my phone and email and said they were FCA approved, then asked if I wanted the money by cheque or bank transfer. I said just send me some info first and I’d get back to them. Oddly, I never gave them my address or birthday when they asked. Later that day, they rang again from the same numbers. Pretty sus if you ask me.
