I received a rather dubious call from something claiming to be the "Bank Security Centre." They tried to convince me that they had halted some hefty transactions on my account. If you take the bait and hit "1" as instructed, they’ll promptly request your banking information. Definitely sounds like a con!

I received a rather dubious call claiming I had won a lottery jackpot, which was rather amusing considering I'd never even entered! Naturally, I questioned them about their so-called “business” since I was in the midst of looking up their number due to my suspicions, and they promptly hung up on me. Not one to back down easily, I called them back and had a bit of an argument with the chap on the other end for a good couple of minutes. It was quite amusing to see him grow increasingly flustered, which honestly made my day! Today, they tried their luck again, claiming I had a £3000 PPI payout waiting for me. When I pointed out I'd never taken PPI out in the first place, the caller quickly clocked that it was me again and swiftly ended the call. What a laugh!

This caller claims I’m due a PPI refund-hardly seems credible. Perhaps it’s time they sought a proper job instead!

I had a call from this number (01952) 451749 claiming that I was due some money back for PPI. Could this possibly be a scam? I'm rather suspicious about it.

Got a call from an Indian bloke about a PPI thing from 2017. I told him to email me the details before I said yes to anything, and he just hung up. Pretty sure it was a con.

I picked up a call from a blocked number, but it dropped instantly. It seems I keep receiving these calls from various places across the UK, all hunting for some Julia Morris. Honestly, it’s quite tiresome! I've even reported it to the Telephone Preference Service, where I'm registered, but they haven't been any help-complete waste of time! I provided them with the company’s details, including the email address, and they still seem utterly uninterested. How frustrating!

I received a call claiming I was entitled to a PPI refund and they requested my banking information to transfer the funds. The thing is, I’ve never even taken out PPI in the first place! Definitely a scam!

They were aware of my name and where I live, then proceeded to inquire about my date of birth. To top it all off, they asked for my sort code and account details before abruptly ending the call. Strange behaviour, to say the least!

Absolute con artist! They were after my banking info under the guise of giving me a PPI refund. The thing is, I've never even had PPI in the first place! I swiftly blocked and reported them.

I received a call informing me that I’m owed £3,500 for PPI. They seemed to have quite a bit of personal information, including my date of birth, address, and even my bank account details. It left me feeling a tad anxious, especially when they suggested I should chat with their life insurance team about a so-called 'free quote' for my refund. Oddly enough, they instructed me to deny everything if anyone asked about PPI. At that point, I decided it was best to hang up. It's really troubling to think how they could have accessed my bank information like that.

I've received no fewer than three calls from that number today alone, all about PPI refunds, funeral plans, and life insurance. When I inquired about how they obtained my number, the response was quite cheeky: "your number is everywhere." But that can't be right as we're ex-directory and have signed up with the Telephone Preference Service! Lately, I often only share my mobile number. These incessant calls are becoming increasingly tiresome and irritating!

Today, I've had two calls from this number, and it's clearly a scam. Every time I pick up, I choose not to utter a word, and they promptly hang up. I’ve tried blocking the number and reporting it, yet they keep on calling. It makes one wonder why there isn’t a better way to tackle this issue!

I received a recorded call claiming I was the sole participant in a conference. Shortly after, it informed me that I had been removed from the conference and then it beeped before disconnecting. Quite odd, really!

I've just noticed a payment of £39.00 from 3900 PPI appearing in my account, amusingly enough!

I’ve just received a rather dodgy call inquiring about my account and sort code to supposedly pay out my PPI. Naturally, I found it a bit odd since they never requested my address and quickly hung up! They must think I’m a bit slow on the uptake. I'm not falling for that nonsense-better luck next time, darling!

I receive a call from this number pretty much daily, so I figured it was high time to investigate. I tend to ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers unless I’m anticipating a specific caller. To make matters worse, they never bother to leave a voicemail, which is becoming rather tiresome. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, so now I'm curious to see whether they will relent or if they'll just ring me from a different line.

Got a call from a woman named Abigail with a foreign accent claiming I was owed over £3,000 in PPI compensation. It felt dodgy to me! Definitely sounds like a con, so be careful and don’t hand over any bank info. She even wrote down my address, which made me even more suspicious.

Got a call from someone with a really odd accent but an English sounding name. He claimed he had some cash to give me and asked what bank I used. When I told him to just post me the cheque, he refused. Seemed fishy so I just ended it there, probably a scam.

Received a call purporting to be from a firm handling my refund from Lloyd’s Bank, amounting to £3,900. They had my email and telephone number and claimed to be authorised by the FCA. I was asked whether I preferred a cheque or a direct transfer to my bank account. I requested them to send me a correspondence pack and mentioned I would respond once it arrived. Although he agreed, I hadn’t provided him with my address or date of birth, which he inquired about. Quite curious to see what this “pack” entails. Later on, I received another call from the same numbers.
