I received a rather unsettling phone call from someone claiming they could eliminate my debts. What was quite alarming was the amount of personal information they had about me-my name, address, birthday, and even my email! I pressed them for verification of their identity, but they became quite aggressive and abruptly hung up. Definitely a SCAM!

got a call from someone who was all mumbling about "citizen's advice" and trying to help with my unsecured debt, which i don’t even have. told them straight up this was a scam, said have a nice day and then ended the call and blocked the number.

They pretended to be a firm specialising in debt consolidation and writing off debts, dangling the enticing prospect of reducing my outstanding amount by a staggering 60 to 80%. The catch? I don't actually have any debts whatsoever! I’m baffled as to how they obtained my phone number. Clearly, this was a spam call, so I’d recommend blocking them immediately.

Received a rather unwelcome phone call, the chap on the other end spoke in such broken English that I decided to hang up on him.

Received a call from what they said was a debt recovery company, promising to eliminate my debts. However, their command of English was rather lacking. I attempted to clarify that I’m not in any debt, but after a frustrating back-and-forth, I ultimately made the decision to hang up. These calls are nothing but a nuisance-my advice is to simply ignore them, block the number, or better yet, don’t pick up at all!
