I can’t shake off this unsettling feeling! They had my name and an alarming amount of personal details. They started quizzing me about Covid and then went on to pitch life insurance. Thankfully, my phone conked out on me, and when I finally got it charged up again to ring them back, it was all silence on the other end!

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be with Citizens Advice, asking about my vaccination details as they said they were updating NHS info. I told them straight away that CAB wouldn’t have access to my NHS stuff. Then she started asking about other family members, which I didn’t feel comfortable answering. After I said nothing, she just suddenly ended the call. The background was full of noise, sounded like a busy call centre in India. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

Some bloke called saying he was from the NHS and asked if I’d got my second covid jab done. I found it dodgy since I’ve already had my booster, and surely they’d have that info if it was legit. He then started asking about any side effects I’d had and if I’d got a certificate for my vaccines. Out of nowhere, he switched to asking if I had any unsecured debts. I told him no, but he insisted there was a record showing I did. That’s when I just ended the call.

I got a call saying they were from the NHS checking if I’d had my jabs and any side effects. After a few questions, they asked if I had a covid passport. When I asked for proof and where exactly they were ringing from, they said something about NHS Track and Trace. Then, strangely, they started asking if I had life insurance. This was about the fourth time I’d had a call like this, so I told them I didn’t think they were legit NHS and refused to give any info, and they just hung up. Every time, the callers had strong Asian accents.
